SUBJECT: Nurseries Permitted to Operate
Prime Minister The Most Honourable Andrew Holness has announced that all educational institutions are to be closed, with the exception of grades with students preparing for exit exams; grades 6, 11, 12 and 13. However, nurseries/daycares are permitted to open with strict measures in place to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
Prime Minister Holness made the announcements at a press conference on
Sunday, February 28 following an increase in the number of COVID-19 cases across the island.
