The Early Childhood Commission (ECC), a Statutory Body of the Ministry of Education, Skills, Youth and Information with responsibility to regulate the operations of Early Childhood Institutions, is seeking to identify highly motivated and dynamic individuals to fill the following post: DATA PROTECTION OFFICER (GMG/SEG 2) – TEMPORARY Purpose of Job Under the general direction of the Executive Director, the Data Protection Officer is responsible for ensuring the Commission operates in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2020. The incumbent is also responsible for providing technical advice and coordinating all aspects relating to data privacy. S/he will play a critical role in safeguarding the privacy rights of individuals for whom data is held or processed by the ECC and will ensure that sensitive data is protected in accordance with the law.
